Now hear me out, Manchester United is in fourth place with 38 points, and they don't really seem to advance any further than the fourth place because there is a huge point difference between the teams above them.
Good for now but it is temporary position and in recent matches, Manchester United are fluctuating between lose and win that is not good to be honest.
Manchester United's main problem is, if someone looks at them playing, they cannot confidently say that Manchester United is going to win. With Manchester United, it always seems to be a 50-50. That is something Manchester United have to change.
But the problem is they cannot afford to lose matches from now on because that team in fifth place has 37 points.
But on the positive side, Manchester United have played 1 less match.
Don't forget about Tottenham and Manchester United have worse condition with internal bonds amongst their players as well as players and coach. It is not helpful and healthy in long run. They should improve it as soon as possible because if they give it more time to explode and become worse, they will harvest bad results in later of the season.
About Tottenham and Manchester United having insider issues, we all know that it has always been a problem.
Hell, we have even seen Son burst out against their own goalkeeper at the end of the first half of a match. I am sure anyone can find that clip on YouTube. If they want to improve as a club then they have to fix these problems.
So if they keep winning they can easily hold the fourth position. And there is no question about them improving their game than before. Now they are producing much better results. But I have to say I expected more from Cristiano Ronaldo.
Point is whether they will be able to maintain their performance and keep wining and get better net results than other clubs and end in top 4? If they don't have big improvement, I don't see how they will achieve it.
Right now it is hard to say if Manchester United is going to be able to hold their fourth place in the league but I am sure that Arsenal and Tottenham is going to give Manchester United a good fight.
