yes! I also prefer to find my own way and try to avoid copying
each person has an unique path, we can learn with others but it's impossible to live their lives or know 100% what they are going through
regarding control, when I see I'm getting to a repetitive pattern I try to break the behavior and stop doing it for a while, specially with games.
Developing your own way of gambling is best what will help us to go in this line otherwise copying others might be costly sometimes.For example if i try to copy some big gambler and bet high say $100 and loose it instantly then what will i do at that point because it's far more than what i afford to loose.So play according to yourself and enjoy it within limits.
