This is grasping straws at a non-issue.
Only a third of stakeholders belonged to group 3 (only posted on NEM thread) but that's no indication that they're sock puppets. There's many lurkers here who saw the message of NEM, signed up and posted to get our stake (me among them).
That being said - it was only a third of 3000. Let's pretend only half of them are genuine sock puppets - that's still 2500ish unique persons with NEM stake, sure a lot better than NxT's distribution.
What did NEM do to piss off the NxT whales?
Someone needs to create a Hitler spoof video from the perspective of a NxT whale with an irrational hatred of NEM.
