You have to see that currently, Man United is in 4th position and if you are still not convinced, in the previous 5 games Man United has improved in beating the opponent. From 5 matches including FA Cup with Aston Villa in 3rd Round, 4 wins by narrow score, and 1 draw against Aston Villa in Premier League. So far I think Man United made a few moves although not as significant as possible.
I understand that, Man United need an adjustment process with Rangnick. I think whoever the coach is they need adaptation. That adaptation has been a long way off and now Man United have played like Rangnick's will. The movement of seizing the ball is very visible, they simultaneously presing on the opposing player. At least a few wins have given Man United the chance to keep going to ucl next season. "I think at the moment Man United is still unstable.
Manchester united performance isn't by merit I think it's more of luck and it's working for them. They are yet to build a strong team base even though the narrowly find their way to either win or draw in which the comfortably draw most of the times and in some cases still lose their games. Their game against west ham is just a fresh picture of what Manchester games looks like I just wish Rangnick could possibly make good improvement on their team
Manchester United has been shaking since the appointment of the new manager and it should take sometime to adapt with Ralf and this is if they can’t be patient but I don’t think anyone can right now, there has been a lot of easy giveaway of balls and lack of ball controls, Manchester United can’t hold a possession for 3 mins even when playing  against smaller teams and I think Ralf doesn’t have a personality tactic right now he is still randomly picking which one suits each match they play. Let’s see if there would be some good midfield play when pogba comes back.
