From a ROI perspective, joining now is fine. For historical players, it is very frustrating. The issue however is that with the low price, the amount of time investment for such little reward makes it more difficult to get excited about.

I do not understand how and when SLP will regain its value. SLP has an unlimited supply and no burning mechanism which means that there is no chance for the SLP price to rise as people are constantly selling their free tokens which they received daily by winning the game.
Even the axis prices are down. For those who have invested in this game about two months before, it will be impossible to recover their ROI. It may take a year or more to just come up to the level of their investments in the game.
