The Compac regulator we designed for the first stick in 2015 was built to run 0.8 volts 17 amps; the 2Pac used it for 1.6 volts and the NewPac used it for around 0.86V and this stick uses it for about 1.5V

We designed the hub to run 3A per port because we knew our sticks were made to pull 15 watts. The Compac wasn't really capable of it without modification but as a single-chip stick, 10 watts or so was a practical max anyway. But every stick after that could do the juice. We've used the exact same regulator circuit, changing only the parts needed to set the voltage range, from the beginning.

You have think to add a way to send directly 3.3v or 5v on your stick without take power from USB and use USB just for data ?
They are powerful and efficient industrial power supply for low voltage and huge current.

It can be easy to cool if it's possible to align chip with a bigger radiator or waterblock system or use M.2 system to cool your chip Smiley
