Statistically Lampard did not stand out too much when he was Chelsea coach and can he bring Everton back up to the top or not?
Lampard managed Chelsea for one and less than a half season. He came in after when Maurizio Sarii left Chelsea for Juventus and actually in that season Chelsea did good under Lampard as manager. Chelsea finished 4th that season compared to previous where they finished 3rd under Sarri. Lampard is a new manager and has lot to learn before he joins elite group of managers but right now he is right on the tracks of it. Everton back to top under him feels hard for me but they should become better under him.
It will be the same as Steven Gerrard who is full of learning to be in the elite board of the English league to become a coach, but with his return to the EPL Lampard at least knows the situation of the EPL game and this can definitely improve Everton's performance if they entrust to some players, I think in very fit to try his return after Chelsea.
