cant the same thing be said about horse paste?

a. i had covid but i took horse paste and it cured me... 

b. i took horse paste and never caught covid...

both approaches assume waaaay to much.

to me, its all survivorship bias when you get to arguing about the vaccine vs whatever as far as being the cause for surviving or not getting it in the 1st place..
