I also think that Roma are not in that much bad situation in the standings right now. They are at the 6th position and they have a winning streak recently too. This is their first season with Jose Mourinho in the end and we can't see it as a failure already now. They still have a chance for even the 4th position which can give them a chance to promote to the Champions League for the next season. And I believe that they will fight for it for a long time and won't give up earlier in the season.
Yes, it's true, Roma can't be said to be bad, they are only 5 points adrift of the top 4 positions, which are now occupied by Atalanta. Of course they want 4th place at least at the end of the season, to be able to have a ticket to play in the Champions League next season.
