Mbappe only wants to serve with the existing contract with PSG while the offer of a new contract is a long decision if PSG can persuade Mbappe to stay then that is better, but if Mbappe is released on a free transfer then it is ridiculous that PSG has wasted so much money.
If in the UCL, PSG have to submit to Madrid then the possibility of this dream of being a champion will fade, even I have doubts about Madrid.
Actually Mbappe must be ready with his choice.
Mbappe could agree a new contract with PSG but he may prefer to focus on the Champions League for now. I don't follow a lot of news about his contract renewal with PSG but it's very important.
There is a possibility that Mbappe will move to another team if PSG fail to win the Champions League title sooner than we think. The round of 16 clash will largely determine Mbappe's future at PSG and it will influence his decision to stay or move at the end of the season. I'm not convinced by PSG's failure to extend his contract, he will have to agree to an offer even though it will eventually be sold.
