Hertha has a greater chance of winning. they played well at home. even against Dortmund, they can win. although it was destroyed by Cologne 1-3 in the match against Bochum, I think Hertha can handle it.
both teams do not have consistent performance. as you said both are problematic in midfield. and I think they also have problems in finishing.
I was also in favour of Hertha Berlin but after reading comments from @Lafu today I try some different type bet for myself because I was feeling comfortable with this and have my bet on this match with +0.5 for Bochum and this was very good right now as I am watching this match feeling this was very good decision because they are good and have outside chance for win this match.
Right now, we are in 77th minute of this match and both teams are doing very good, but Bochum is having some better edge with more shots on goal instead of Hertha Berlin, hopefully in remaining match this momentum will be up by these both teams and match will be ended in Bochum win or draw because in these both cases I will be in good profit.
