Also, in case you are taking the image from an external source I suggest you to combine the [ img ] tag With the [ url ] tag to make the image linkable:

If you take the link for the BBCode from any image uploading site like imgbb then it's already attached with [url] embedded in the link and then you can remove it or keep it to make the image link clickable that will redirect you to the particular image hosting site where you have uploaded the image.
But you can make readjustmemts in the image size of height and width according to your preference but if the size is small you could make it clickable otherwise it's completely fine to avoid the link.
The image hosting site like imgbb or imgur are free of cost then why go through these apps but yes you can use them to make some image adjustment if they come along with it as other members have previously discussed about such apps that can help you in image posting on the forum but for me imgbb is ok to work with and post images here.
