I have a big fan of Spielberg's work and have watched a lot of Sci-Fi movies in the past too. However, they are all fiction and not everything that happens there will be happening in future. It is human nature to point out the negative aspects more than the positive ones and those who are not related to technology will always say that. Still it does not mean that humans are going to be bound to chains and made to work in order to get money to pay. That is an excessive extrapolation.

Because we are obsessed with bad things, we tend to assume the bad. But really, these games are only dust earnings and they cannot sustain an economy to run. Dont forget that most jobs in this world are not WFH ones, most need skilled on-site work.

These games are stupid and only stupid people will play them in future and waste their time while others go ahead in making money by better methods like buying bitcoin.
