If I'm in that situation and I'm the developer then I would be focusing first with the security of the platform. You'll be getting information from your users and they should be confident that their data is secured and won't be used for the advantage of the platform's development.
Next to it, I'll attract employers first, if there are no employers, there will be no users that will use the platform, right? Like giving them some incentive as the platform is just starting out. Any incentive that can be par or more than the other established freelance marketplaces.

Security is very important for every platform. Person must be sure that their personal data is sefe.
Now very often hackers hack DeFi protocols and DEX and steal not only money but also personal data of users.
That is why security is very important.

In almost every platform, the importance of data of users is at the highest level. That's why hackers are aiming for that because there's a bigger money that they'll get from it.
And with this platform for freelancers, they should secure that. Despite being new, there's the importance and urge that they have to protect their users before any leak happens. Because hackers are everywhere and they'll attack and leak information every website that they can.
