What makes you think Bitcoin is on its own and controlled by rich people, Bitcoin and the blockchain in its right sense and idea is to provide freedom for all its users just like Bitcoin solve the problem of intermediary so it the same with every decentralized cryptocurrency Bitcoin can be own in whatever bits and individual can afford.
