Yeah lock the core to 1110 and leave the power limit at 100%. Locking the core drops the power usage.
If you're getting DAG errors it's normally caused by the memory overclock. You could try setting the memory overclock with afterburner right after the DAG for ETH is created.
I use HiveOS and with that you can set a delay before the overclocks are applied.

Edited afterburner cfg file with:
[Settings]
StartupDelay=60000
DAG verifies with no errors
Now this miner with 7 3070s running 60.2Mhs ETH and 1.08Ghs TON , power 140-162w , cclck 1110 set in bat as advised, memory 1200 in Afterburner on all cards, PL 100%
I had to run miner with admin privileges to get cclk working.
I am trying to use cclock on another miner as well, but for some reason i cannot get miner to run as admin, no matter what i try. (posted it in gminer forum)
