I think that Chelsea's place in the standings is not guaranteed too. Because as long as they continue to get bad results, the closest teams to them can catch up with them in time. They defeated Tottenham the last time maybe but they must keep winning and have their previous form back. Because Arsenal and Tottenham have the potential of decreasing the point difference with Chelsea to 2 if they win their missing games. I don't know what happened to Chelsea for some time but I still believe that they would get better soon.
As it stand now if Arsenal wins their two outstanding matches they would have 45 points two points below Chelsea same with Tottenham, a big challenge awaits Chelsea if they flop in their upcoming matches, as it stand now only Man City and Liverpool UCL spot is guaranteed while Chelsea, Arsenal, West ham, Tottenham and Man Utd will slug it out for the remaining two spots, no wonder EPL was rated as one of the best league in the world and very competitive infact relegation teams are also battling hard just as Liverpool and Man City are eyeing the EPL trophy.
