2x-3x is pretty much just $1.6 trillion - $2.4 trillion in marketcap. Do you really think that's the highest that bitcoin can go lol? Even gold alone is like $10 trillion in marketcap.
It will do more but you wont get rich fast from it anymore.

I think not, there is a chance that Bitcoin might push more. So many factors for Bitcoin to soar, look at how the world is now, do you think people would invest in gold or any other asset if war breaks out? I would prefer using the alternative to save my funds, and BTC is one, I can bet my fortune on a piece of paper with pk's in it rather than dig a safe deposit for gold. There are so many guys in the past who said worst than your about Bitcoins future but all of them were not even close, and look how it turns out to be, BTC is alive and kicking.
