Reply I received yesterday, some of which was shared in earlier posts. Emphasis mine. Like others, I didn't have much activity in the last five days of the site. It's been slow for years aside from a few moments of interest.
Update 02-11-2022 - BTCpop will be back online around March 1st, 2022. It will most likely have 5 days of missing data and we will be adjusting members accounts on a individual basis. There will be no new updates until Feb. 25, 2022
Update 02-04-2022 - We are still waiting for the return of our original HD, until that is received back we are at a little standstill. We are still working on recovery the data from a older HD, however it is proving difficult to recover the 5 missing days leading up to the January 14th incident. We will continue the recovery of the HD until we either recover the data or the original HD is returned to us. In the meantime, as we have said before, your crypto is safe stored away on a different HD/Server...we will be back.
Update 1-28-2022 - We are still waiting for the HD to be returned, however in the meantime we are still preparing the backup with the missing 5 days of data to get BTCpop back online as soon as possible. Before this can be done there is a lot of work that will need to be completed due to the missing data. This will include adjusting every members balances as well as loans, bonds, instant loans etc. late fees and due dates and all staking assets will need to be re-evaluated and adjusted as well. Please remember a few things, first and most importantly...your crypto is safe second we are a small team and working to bring BTCpop back online however it will take some time to accomplish if the HD is not returned and we have to continue to recover and adjust the last backup with missing data.
Update 01-21-22 - Progress is slow, we are still trying to recover all the data, we do have most except for the last 5 days leading up to January 14th, we will continue the recovery process and have BTCpop back up as soon as possible.
