Yes, there is no big consideration over the Indian Women's cricket. Indian women's team too is a strong team. Some small error during the match used to bring loss for them. Indian women's cricket players weren't given proper respect and there is discrimination in pay and other beneficiaries. This has made caused various people discuss on the same and no end result is achieved on it.
The absence of the WIPL has been a big negative for the women's players. I still don't understand what prevented the BCCI from launching a smaller league with 3 or 4 teams for the women. The Australian and the English cricket boards have shown them how to create profits from the women's game. Even New Zealand is way up compared to the BCCI. On the other hand, the BCCI has actually asked the Indian players to get match practice through playing in WBBL and Women's Hundred (they have banned the men's players from similar leagues).
Why would BCCI look for profit through women cricket when they are making more profit every year through IPL? WIPL will not generate revenue for them as not many Indians watch women cricket in India. BCCI only focuses on the cricket craze within India, which men cricket generates.
