BTW, I'm still playing the Starlight demo, apparently in 500 spins I only get 2-3x bonus spins, maybe it's true what mu_enrico said in the OP, sometimes bonus buy is cheaper than free spins. I tried it 3 times, and the odds were almost the same, even 1x500 trials didn't get the spin bonus.
Maybe you can use Live RTP in order to get the best time to play the game.
