I checked there twitter page and they are some what active there, though they need to be more active if they wanna get attention of people. These days social media pages are very important and you cant ignore these pages. There community is building up at-least on twitter, just make sure they are real followers.
Except that project is extremely good and have all the prerequisite to be a successful project there is need for most of these new project to have the right people to support them to build a very active community, projects and influensers with huge number of followers have worked for it, if you are not active on social media don't expect people to follow,
They need to be really committed and be active to build their community, without a community a project can hardly succeed.
