I actually see this from the opposite way because the BCCI gets a lot of money from IPL so they also invest in the men's IPL, and in that way the money generation can be bigger and more stable. I think the BCCI knows that women's cricket in India is not going to make a lot of revenue for them and that's why they are not that interested in it.
Yeah, it's not good for them to avoid women at all because if they are feeling they will have lost, but this can turn into good after few years because after few early years surely there could be some better interest about this and as India is good at marketing this can do more good for them. Just they need to start with 6 teams and give a try instead of mentioning ladies to join WBBL and Hundred100 women league because it's really shameful act from them.
As of now, they are the richest sporting authority, and they can manage things like this very easily without any big concern, even they can manage one ODI tournament as well for women which will create more interest and some better for spreading cricket around India for women talent.
