In essence they want more tax money.
I think the statement will be around money generation from cryptocurrency to the US government. It is more of regulation, like the businesses around cryptocurrency as exchange operations and maybe KYC on the customers. Other than that I don't think legalization news or adoption is coming out of Biden on it.
Probably, that will be the last option to happen. For now, the US government is only concern on regulating digital assets hoping that it would bring more money on the country. Nothing more than that, as they are only concern on how they can take advantage on the current trend by not banning it but regulating it so they can have more control of its coming income. But hopefully, crypto adoption will be more possible in the following years.
