I hit the similar issue.

1 password right, and reset 2FA
2 password right, but second password wrong.
3 password wrong.


it seams you give right password,
then after you give wrong 2FA or "wrong second password",
the password wrong.

so what to do.
I guess
you password is right. just need make sure 2FA and "wrong second password" both right.
