I mean there is still at least 3 points difference even if Liverpool wins the extra game. Doesn't mean that they are going to end up winning or end up losing neither, it is still quite in the middle for now and there is absolutely nothing to say for now. However, it was definitely too early to pay out that quickly .

I mean think about it, the difference was so quick that even after a few games we are now closer and the decision is being questioned and not like City ended up losing too much neither, just one loss on the last game and one tie in the last 5 games, if they went on a 2-3 game losing streak then I would understand and say "how would they know this would happen" but it is just one loss . If your whole pay out early is destroyed by one loss then I am pretty sure it was too quick to make a decision like that and maybe you should have waited a bit longer .
