Some would say better ever than never, but you have been a member of this forum since 2014 - which means it took you 8 years to receive your first BTC payment for your work - which somehow places the adaptation of the BTC at the speed of a snail's or turtle's step. I hope that you will not have to wait another 8 years for the next payment in BTC 
Lol.. shall i will say it's when op encounter it own experience of receiving payment with Bitcoin, since op has started to summon courage via receiving payment with bitcoin, i believe from my perspective it has activated for the life system, no matter the delay or time frame it has taken op, we should encourage and wish op to continue with cryptocurrency payment transactions, because it definitely bring more testimonies about cryptocurrencies especially bitcoin in outside world..lol.
