Why are you so "pessimistic" about Bitcoins? 3-4x return in 4 years I wouldn't really call pessimistic and no bright future. This is very solid returns for any investors. Right now it's no good time for any crypto coin. As long as the situation in Ukraine is not stabilised, we won't see any big price jumps happening.  Once the world will return to normality asset prices are going to rally again. I like Bitcoins and ETH, selling all my BTC now to switch into ETH for a slightly higher return in 4 years is no a good idea for me. I prefer to diversify my eggs in multiple basket and bitcoins is one of them. The return we made with bitcoins so far is higher than that of ETH. Better to keep holding both coins for the future. Also nobody can guarantee us today that ETH will actually make 4-5x in the next 4 years. As long as crypto prices will keep going up the in future I am happy. Focusing on a fixed return we want to make in four years can be disappointing.
