So going back to the main topic, we don't have Uber yet here in the Philippines (we only have Grab Taxi). But no matter which brand is it for taxi services like Uber, I would like to see it happen one day. I was imagining myself paying my taxi fare with BTCs hehe.
it is not that the Philippines don't have Uber yet instead Uber stopped their Business here couple years ago leaving Grab to with no competitor those days and i don't think if they are coming back again.
According to the article, uber has yet to say exactly when they will accept bitcoin payments. We'll have to wait until they implement it, but this is a very good start when a traditional world-sized company considers accepting crypto payments.
I am very optimistic that uber will have an official announcement soon, maybe they did a lot of research before releasing this information, not a joke.
of course Uber is still looking for People support and response about this plan , so in case there is a massive call then they will surely let this happen ASAP.
