Sunil Gavaskar I think we can understand in which situation this India versus Pakistan is in. I really don't think that the players have too much objection to playing against each other.
In my opinion, it's more like the people in power who are ultimately controlled by the government, have a huge problem about this. And they just have to prove that they are better than the other, also don't want to give any benefit or else I think I should say, that watch out that the other party does not get benefited in any way.
I think that is the main reason why Pakistan players are not allowed in the IPL because they think Pakistan will make a huge amount of money off of it.
