The united states is currently in a state of conflict with cryptocurrencies. There are some states like texas which have large scale crypto mining operations fueled by newly constructed wind farms. These US states trend towards being pro crypto. While other US states lean in the opposite direction. The federal government could try to force crypto regulation but I think some individual US states might resist. It could turn into a state sovereignty issue.
