Why do you think so? 5,000 reports is a limit on the history of reports for users so that the pages always work correctly. I don't think this is the same limitation for moderators. Moderators have a separate window, I don't think they process reports from your report history.
In general, deleted posts that are in the unhandled status are normal. It often happens to me that processed reports change their status to GOOD a week after the post was deleted by the moderator. So not all processed posts change their status instantly. Be patient.
