Usually when a big shareholder wants to sell his whole stake in a company that raises a few red flags. Why wouldn't you wanna just sell 5% for example (so half of your stake) if you believe that this project will be successfull in the future.

As @Lucius already mentioned, the risk/reward ratio is too high for most people. Might aswell stake some usdc for 12% or some bitcoin and have a "safer" return
