With the short time I have been with these forum, I have come across different story on how people have been scammed, Almost all the story so far talks about their experience with scammers on social medias, forgetting that they are other ways or strategies on how people are been scammed.so I decided to list the various strategies on Which scammers practice on, in other to scam people in my own experiences so far.

Online shopping scam__ paying for what you ordered or shopped and not getting it, and also pretending to sell a product  just to get your credit card or debit card information.

Bank credit card scam or telephone scam__ Scammers send emails or text messages that appear to be from your bank claim that your account is having issues  and request that you verify your details by sending them you pin on the front and back of your credit or debit card.

Employment and job scam__ Scammers offering you job with good salaries or large investment returns and at the end asking you to pay some amount of money before getting the job.

Charity scam___scammers pretending to work for a particular charity organization in other  to extracting money from individuals.

 Cyber crime scam or computer hacking___scammers sending you website or link attachment encouraging you to click, once you click on the link attachment sent to you a malicious software will be installed and all you information will be hacked.

Dating and romance scam__Scammers trying to enter into relationship by using a fake details and legit dating sites, building trust and making feel it real then asking for money and your personal details pretending that they are sick, injured, family crisis, traveling and so on.

Lottery or gambling scam___scammers sending emails tell you that you have won some huge amount of money and at the end asking for fees in other to receive your money.

 Hitman scam___ this is a situation where the victim personal details is been gathered by the scammer either by personnel blog, or social network account thereby threatening the victim that if a  random some of money is not paid to them by the time frame provided , they will kidnap a family member.
