To all newcomers on here pls be careful with projects that start with the name "META" because they are mostly scam projects, since metaverse have become another hot cake in crypto world today this scammers are fully ready to use this on the unknowns, open your eye and do good research before taking that risk... Meta this and mate that are the most dangerous projects today, stay safe.
ICO's are the hype a few years ago. Many developers and fake ones created their own project and scammed people.

DeFi's are also the thing a few years ago. Many people created their own DeFi project and scammed investors.
Now aside from Meta-thingy, NFT's are also the hype as of this moment but now decreasing. We've also seen different projects that ended up as a scam.
My point? Whether it is related to metaverse or related to NFT or whatever that is hype, there will be investors who will get scammed anyway. We are always educating people to do research and do this and do that but still there are some who are falling into scammers. Most of them are doing common ways to scam people but there are some who are falling into it. Being knowledgeable before investing will help you not get scammed so learn first.
