It may just be you friend, no matter how harsh economic situations become, know that it is in favour of some people who engineered the situation or have already set themselves at positions of opportunity. In my country, bars and clubs are still filled up on weekends, people are still erecting/buying structures and cars etc which is a clear indication that there is still liquidity to a large extent.
