Hey guys, could you help me solve a mystery with the block reward?
According to the info:
The thread first used to specifiy 96 maxcoins per block, did you fork it because it halved way quicker than 12months?
If you did not fork it I assume my calculations are incorrect? To get the blocknumber at which the change happened I used:
2 * 60 * 24 * 365.5 = 1052640
(2 blocks per minute, 60 minutes an hour, 24hours a day, 365.5 days a year) that would lead me to believe the block halving wasn't supposed to happen until block number 1,052,640.
Please help me solve it, so I can prevent the overview at https://cointweak.com/calculator/index/scrypt displaying incorrect information again.
