Yes there are other forums that talk about altcoins the one that comes close to Bitcointalk forum is
altcoinstalks.com/ there are a lot of topics and top altcoins in the market have their own sections I have a legendary account here I am not fully active here because of my offline job, this forum is good for those who invest in altcoins.
