im sorry to break the bad news to everyone but neobee is dead. they arn't/can't make any money. they will have increasing costs and with the price of bitcoin probably continuing to fall over the next month or two, there not gonna survive. and thats on the assumption that the cypriot government doesn't just close them down. it was a great idea, and a nice flashy branch and opening, but its a year or two too early for this, it hasn't been thought out fully and now all the investors who put money into danny's "project" are going to lose a huge amount of money
They can still survive provided that they get a few customers. Because then they could cook the numbers to make them look not as bad, blame the Cypriot government or the people or MtGox or anybody else for that matter (except themselves of course) for the lackluster performance, then ask for more investment to help them expand, take on additional projects, etc.
The interesting thing for me is, what happens if they don't get ANY customers? Because, being Greek myself, I can't for the life of me see many Greeks signing on to this. It's a big part of the reason I'm following this thread. I'm curious to see if they can pull this off. I don't think they can. It could be, though, that it's not the Greeks that they have in mind, but rather the foreigners (Russians, Brits, and others) whose capital is now stuck on the island and would rather get it out. If they can get some of those guys, then they might be able to get out of this (by spinning the numbers, making more promises, etc.).
