Searching alone is not enough, but you know how to search, many scam projects buy ads, reviews and good articles, so do not be deceived by the first page on Google.
Spending more time on the internet doing research will give us the idea of which one is legit and which one is not.
However, If that you said is right, I don't think that relying on reviews gives us enough hints on what to invest in since reviews and feedback can be manipulated to make it good. Now that the majority of us had relied totally on the market reviews, this somehow will not stop us from getting fall into scam projects knowing that things can be changed.
I guess we need strict regulations to help them out and only legit project remain.
