It was a solid week for Tottenham because they managed to defeat West Ham 3-1. And they also have placed themselves ahead of Manchester United right now. Things are going on really bad for Manchester United for now. They can even have a hard time finishing at the fifth position unless they improve their effort much more. I hope we can see them staying in the competition for top four.
Tottenham team has been getting slightly more consistent against smaller teams. They just need to play at the level they played against West Ham, week in week out and they'd have a really nice shot to compete in the Champions League next season. Hot on the tails of Arsenal at the moment, who have been in a decent form as well.
I personally can't judge West Ham as a small team, because West Ham is part of the EPL from season to season and West Ham always competes in the middle of the table. So this defeat I think is natural but it doesn't mean West Ham is a small team and also, even though West Ham is currently out of European competition for next season but West Ham with their performance so far at least West Ham still has a chance to finish at least in 6th position. Indeed, this seems difficult to achieve because the competing teams are Manchester United and Tottenham, both of which even continue to improve to get their best form.
