This is true and probably why a chess gambling site could never be fair in any reasonable setup. Even world champions have been beaten by the best chess playing algorithms. All the information is readily available to always make the best calculations, unlike a game like poker where even a computer is unable to make a solid counter against an expert who will understand bluffing and pot odds. Seems like a novel idea and could be fun, but it's wide open to abusive players.
