I think dkbit98 meant wallet addresses can be paid to by multiple users. Although not recommended, it's not uncommon to ask different people to pay to the same address. I even see it on Bitcointalk for raffles or paying back loans, I've seen it on Bitpay, and I've seen instant exchangers reuse addresses.
