RTX 3080 non LHR - Firmware update necessary?

Hello,
I bought a used MSI RTX 3080 Ventus 3x 10G OC "non-LHR" for Ethereum mining and wanted to know if it is necessary to update the BIOS to get better hashrates. What do you think?
