It sounds like a loser, so most altcoins go with a roller coaster.  Although, the altcoin trend is representing intensity and excitement very interesting and hype called Metaverse, nft, meme, defi.  But I am curious that, “altcoin will be the most profitable investment” – I expect an example.  To me, that view is wrong, you need something that goes with both and represents an opportunity for sustained profitability.
