since the LoG contains the public key too (which my guess would be that it would be used to verify the signature), it probably can be spoofed fully by a phishing site.
I addressed that already:
I can't find your public key anywhere on the website. Without that, this public key can be specifically created for only my transaction, which would still mean I can't use it to prove anything.

I'm starting to wonder if it's really not possible to verify the LoG (which also makes me wonder why I'm literally the only one not completing the review without checking this!):

If so, its just a Letter without Guarantee.
For the record: without a LoG that you can verify independently, it's impossible to provide evidence if you claim you got scammed.
