Why no just invest in bitcoin, it is the most reliable. You can go for some altcoins too, but you have to be very careful while choosing altcoins because some may not yield any profit, some may yield just little profit, some may result to losses. If going for altcoins, just let little of your portfolio to be altcoin and have like 70% or more on bitcoin. Avoid new projects, they are scam, look for better ones with high marketcap on coinmarketcap.
for the current situation, of course, looking at the charts of bitcoin will make new people hesitate to enter the market. because the trend that bitcoin is building is also good. Investing in a market that is currently in pumps is certainly not a good thing. it would be better to wait for the correction to occur.
for some altcoins, I think you can see assets experiencing a big correction in CMC or on the exchange. we can enter assets that are experiencing a correction, but of course, it is for the long term and must be analyzed first.
for beginners, buy cheap and sell expensive.
