It is interesting to think that because technology has accelerated so fast in the past couple of decades, something like bitcoin would have seemed futuristic or impossible in the 1970's and 1980's. That said, it is fairly easy to imagine a world of no Bitcoin if you can remember back 20+ years or more .
No need of going back 20+ years to have an imagination of a world without bitcoin. We people have known about bitcoin. Reach a person who lives his life with a job that pays him a stable income and hadn't known about bitcoin. He'll give a brief explanation of what he's living, and he finds that life successful and enjoyable. If the same is raised to a person who have used to bitcoin, he'll brief about the positive and negative he had experienced out of bitcoin.
