I’m not sure that’s true..I think the majority of people are “involved” in bitcoin : cryptocurrencies because they can make money with it. I think the same for many of the people whom are active here in this forum, it’s just about trying to make money. Personally I really wish more people around here cared about the technological breakthroughs the bitcoin is bringing to finance. That’s why I got in to, I spent a year studying it before ever owning any..most care about “profits”, not everything else.
