I am very happy for Villarreal and I loved that they didn't go full defensive mode against Bayern Munich, they went after it. Only regret they should've won by 2 or 3 goals. They had the most and the best chances. They controlled the tempo of the game. While Bayern plays with their normal adrenaline, villareal plays the ball on the pitch, low key swift passes to kill the adrenaline. Villarreal were confident, though. Defensively, they were compact, and every defender dealt with the Bayern's threat with aplomb. The pressure is now on for Bayern to turn things around in Allianz Arena.

Villarreal really played Bayern Munich, that was making people to think the match will end up 3-0 or 4-0 but Villarreal players missed many opportunities to score many goals but they ended up defeated Bayern Munich 1-0 for the favour of Villarreal.
Villarreal defenders was so strong that made Bayern Munich not to equalize the goal because they tried all their possible best to draw the match but Villarreal never allow them to achieve any goal.
